You ever send traffic to a funnel… and have no idea what actually worked?
Was it the Reel?
The email?
The IG bio link?
The podcast mention?
If you don’t know, you can’t double down.
And you can’t scale what you can’t track.
Here’s how to fix that:
Use UTM parameters.
It’s just a little string of text you add to the end of your link so you know exactly where someone came from.
Like this:
?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=bio&utm_campaign=launch_july
Here’s how I use it:
- Source = where it came from (e.g. instagram, facebook, email)
- Medium = how it was delivered (e.g. dm, bio, post)
- Campaign = what it’s for (e.g. launch_july, waitlist, evergreen)
Now I can go into Google Analytics or ClickFunnels stats and see what actually worked.
You can use Google’s free UTM builder or grab any generator online. Takes 30 seconds.
This is how you stop guessing.
Add it to your links.
Track everything.
Make smarter decisions.
Same funnel.
Better data.
More revenue.
