Gratitude right now.

I’m at my sister’s house with my parents, my family, her family, and international guests.

Four families.
One table.
Food. Laughter. Stories overlapping.

I can get hyper-focused on work and progress.
And moments like this make it obvious how hard it is for me to fully let go.

There’s always something to build.
Something to fix.
Something to push forward.

But what else is the work for?

We’re together like this so infrequently.
These windows don’t stay open long.

Productivity can wait.
Progress can wait.

Today we slow down.
Today we enjoy each other.

To make that easier for me, I’m making that the goal.
