When you're building something new.. especially in public..

It’s normal to feel like the slowest person in the room.

It's normal to think..

"Am I dumb?? is this dumb??"

You second-guess everything.

“Is this headline any good?”
“Should I even be using this tool?”
“Why does everyone else make it look so easy?”
"What if this is a terrible idea?"

It’s not just the funnel or the tech.
It’s the weight of not knowing.
The not-yet-figured-out version of you.

Here's what I've found

Feeling scared and a little stupid is exactly what the beginning is supposed to feel like.

It's normal. It's your self-protective system trying to keep you from getting kicked out of the tribe.

Override that thing and ship your project!

Know what helps though?

A circle that "gets" it.

That doesn’t expect you to “figure it all out,” but gives you space to grow and focus on your actual zone of genius.

And a network of people you can trust to delegate things to with confidence.

In reality, we all need that.

Even the ones who look like they’ve got it all dialed in.
