What Actually Moves Conversion: The A/B Testing Data Most Agencies Ignore

Most A/B tests fail to increase revenue.

Frictionless flow beats everything else. Removing a checkout step, building a dedicated landing page, replacing a generic CTA with one that matches what the visitor already decided they want.. these are the tests that produce 20, 40, 70% lifts.

Social proof placement matters more than social proof existence. Logos in a strip don't convert. A named customer claim above the fold does.

Here's the part that changed.

Testing any of those things used to mean real production time. A new copy direction. A restructured page. A different offer frame. You'd scope it, get it approved, build it, and by the time it was live you'd already talked yourself out of half the hypothesis.
