The Ultimate Funnel Pre-Launch Checklist (Don’t Launch Without This)

Before you launch your funnel…
Slow down.
Breathe.
And run through this.

Most funnels launches silently fail..
Nearly 100% of them have some kind of dumb "leaks".. bugs.. human error.
A button that doesn't work halfway down the page.
A workflow that's not enabled.
A mobile layout with giant text.

One untested upsell flow can tank a whole launch.

If you want a clean launch, here’s the checklist.

Don’t skip it.

*Lead Acquisition / Entry Points*
- Inspect every lead funnel. Desktop + mobile.
- Check white space. (Readability boosts conversions)
- Buttons → desktop + mobile.
- Pop-ups → desktop + mobile.
- Images → cloned properly for mobile so they don’t appear under everything.
- Submit button works (you’d be shocked).
- Thank You page actually links to the resource.
- TY page gives a next action → free trial, webinar signup, something.

*Workflows + Automation*
- Workflow exists.
- Workflow is enabled!
- Tagging fires.
- Notification fires.
- Confirmation email sends.
- Indoctrination sequence kicks off.
- Indoctrination emails link to the offer.

*Offer Funnel QA*
- Font sizes look clean on desktop + mobile.
- White space balanced.
- All CTAs work.
- Don’t under-do CTAs. Don’t over-do them.
- Privacy policy / Terms / Legal links all point to the right place.
- OTO or thank-you page → gives a next step, not a dead end.
- Opt-in workflow fires.
- Abandoned cart sequence fires.
- Abandoned cart STOPS when purchase happens (most people forget this).
- Calendar timers → confirm day/date.
- Relative delays → check every one.
- Every email link → test it.
- Replay/indoctrination pages exist + work + look good.

*Checkout/Order Form Checks*
- Right product attached.
- Right price or variant.
- Test a purchase with test card.
- Workflow fires correctly.
- Course access granted.
- Resources delivered.
- Third-party tools integrated.
- Use fresh test emails in an incognito window.
- Check profile tags + workflows firing.
- Nurture content emails kick off.
- Upsell abandoned cart → firing + stopping correctly.

*Domain + Tracking*
- Domain resolves with AND without www.
- Domain resolves with AND without https.
- All pixels installed.
- Analytics installed.
- UTMs passing across pages.
- GA/Tag Manager events firing (Lead, IC, Purchase).

*Performance/Correctness*
- GTmetrix test: Page loads in 2–3 seconds.
- No console errors.
- Run every upsell/downsell flow and make sure it hits the right next page.

*Browser Compatibility*
- Chrome
- Safari
- Firefox
- Mobile Safari
- Mobile Chrome

*Email Deliverability*
- Send test emails to: Gmail, Outlook & Yahoo
- Check: Spam, Promotions, Images load, Buttons render

*Video Hosting*
- Videos playable
- Autoplay (if needed)
- No related videos
- No expiring links

*Accessibility / Usability*
- Contrast good
- Buttons big enough
- Headings structured
- No text overlaps

*SEO + Social Metadata*
- Title tag
- Meta description
- OG image
- OG URL (pointed to the right final page)
- Favicon in place
- No accidental indexing or “noindexing”
- Social preview looks good when shared

*Backup + Recovery*
- Duplicate your funnel
- Export pages
- Save scripts somewhere safe

There are a million things that can go wrong during a launch.
Protect yourself.

If you run through this whole list..
Your funnel’s going to be tighter than 99% of the ones out there.

Most people don’t fail at the sexy part of funnel building.
They fail at the boring parts.
