Yesterday we looked at two different ways to perform redirects in CF2.

My friend Wynter Jones showed me another amazing way that has some advantages over the other two ways!

The URL Redirects feature in CF2 is a powerful mechanism for creating redirects.

Here's how to create one.

 - From the main screen in CF go to Sites then URL Redirects and click the button to create a new one
 - Give it a name that will make sense to you, no one else will see it
 - Select the domain and path you want to redirect from
 - Enter the destination URL that you want to redirect to. It can be any URL on the internet

That's the basics but here is where you can get fancy with it.

You can add a 2nd URL and specify what percentage of the traffic to direct to it for split testing!
You can add a tracking pixel code to send data to reporting suites!
You can also add UTM parameters to the destination URL, allowing to keep your source URL clean!

So cool right?!?
