There are a handful of ways to get someone into a course inside CF2.

You can manually add them..
You can fire a quick action..
You can unlock access based on the product they purchased..
Or you can enroll them through a workflow.

That last one?
That’s my preferred way every single time.

Here’s why:

I came across a setup the other day where access was getting unlocked when a product was purchased.
Super convenient.
Until it wasn’t.

The product had two variants..
and only one was supposed to unlock the course.

Guess what happened?
People who shouldn’t have had access.. got access!

Womp womp whooooomp..

We fixed it by moving the entire enrollment logic into a workflow.
Now I can get ultra specific..
“What exact variant did they buy?”
“What should that give them access to?”
“No crossed wires. No surprises.”

It’s clean.
It’s controlled.
It’s predictable.
Which is exactly what you want when you’re running a real business.

Bonus tip:
Create a stand-alone workflow with a trigger that fires when someone cancels a subscription.
Add an Unenroll step to automatically remove them from course modules.

No more manual cleanup.
No more accidental access lingering forever.
Just.. smooth operations.
