I recently onboarded a client that is a true funnel hacker..
He's an MD and built his own trip wire funnels with a call booking link and he's driving Google ads all by himself.
When he reached out to improve the conversion rate of his lead funnel the goal was to get more calls booked.
Within the first two days we increased the number of booked calls.
The improvements weren't even staggering, but they were enough to tip the scales.
Here's how we did it:
- Redesigned the opt-in page based on the battle tested Control from the FBCC program
- Replaced the tripwire upsell with call booking page
- Rewrote the warm-up sequence to be more empathetic, shorter and have "hookier" subject lines
Now here's the thing..
It wasn't one thing that made the difference.
It was multiple changes in concert.
Opt-ins only slightly improved with our first experiment, up by 1.38%..
Email open rate increased by 16% to 85%
And email click rate bumped up 2% to go from 1% to 3%.
This combined with putting many more eyeballs on the call booking calendar helped us get a bump in booked calls.
We've got more room to grow but it's a great start.
