Growing up.. nobody really wants you to become an entrepreneur
Parents, neighbors, family, society all shift you towards "the safe bet"
Go to college, get a solid job with steady pay and live the dream!
That's what I did
I contorted myself into this puzzle piece that fit into companies' needs
When I did start to get the entrepreneurial itch.. I was terrified to make the leap
So I didn't.. for years and years.
I was so used to others taking the risk, to figure out sales and marketing and support that the thought of doing everything myself terrified me.
I did eventually make the leap and now think I'd die if I worked for a company again.
What's keeping you from making the leap?
Or if you've done it already, what resistance did you encounter along the way?
