I had.. a day today.

​Home life was a bit turbulent...
​
​​I was late for my own team meeting...

My car battery died in the middle of the school car rider line and I blocked the road for two hours...

Which required me to cancel a client meeting...

It was pretty rough...
​
​But when I got home, I took my daughter out for ice cream like I promised.
​
​And despite the fact that we went to four different shops because three of them were unexpectedly closed...
​
I kept my commitment to her.
​
​And I kept my commitment to myself to get on the Peloton bike and do 30 minutes of cardio.
​
​And I kept my commitment to myself to do 30 minutes of strength training.
​
​And I kept my commitments to myself to read my spiritual and art books that I chip away at each night.
​
​And now I'm writing this post!
​
Keeping commitments to myself keeps me in alignment and integrity with myself.
​
​No matter what happens out there.. I can keep it together in here.
​
