How to Tag Your Funnel Workflows to Track, Segment, and Automate Like a Pro

Most people forget to tag their audience when things happen.

Big mistake.

Because tags are how you track behavior, build smart automations, and actually know what’s going on in your business.

Here’s how to do it right:

Go to your funnel and add or edit the workflow.
Add a tag that indicates what just happened.
Stick to a consistent naming convention.

Here’s the format I use:

Prefix–FunnelOrProductName–Action

So...

wbr–webinar-name–registered
prod–product-name–purchased
chal–challenge-name–registered

Now when someone does something, you’ll know.
You can segment.
You can follow up.
You can measure.

The sky’s the limit.

The people who don’t tag?
They’re flying blind.

So... what do you tag next?
What's your naming convention look like?
