I just got off of a video call with a friend.

He was heading into a heavy season.
Launching a podcast.
Juggling life.
Trying not to lose himself in the chaos.

So he reached out.

Said he respected my work ethic.
Wanted to know how I keep it together.

I told him the truth:

I don’t always.

But when I fall, I build something.

When I was slipping with my daughter,
I carved out sacred time with her every day.

When I was growing distant from my wife,
I made our morning spiritual routine non-negotiable.

When my mental health was fraying,
I started working out daily.
Journaling daily.
Shaving daily.
Small things.
Anchors.

Rituals that hold the structure in place.

But the most important thing I told him?

Don’t stop.

Even when you miss a day.
Even when it’s messy.
Even when it’s not pretty.
Don’t stop.

That’s the only rule that matters.

Because if you keep going…
The wins catch up.
The results reveal themselves.
