You close a deal, get the client onboarded, start cranking on delivery and then...
SCOPE CHANGE!
Something is added, or drastically changed.
Or maybe you're nearing completion and you get an endless stream of "can we add this?"
It's definitely happened to me and is why I now use a contract, even though I didn't like the idea at all for a long time
But really, it's pretty simple
When you define the scope of the work in a contract that both parties sign, you're protected against scope creep!
