I do 90% of my work in CF 2, but every once in a while I get to turn back the clock and go to CF Classic.

Getting a subscription product to work well in production and test mode can be tricky, and the method keeps changing.

Here's what's working for me now.

- Head to your Stripe dashboard and switch over to Test Mode
- Create your new recurring product while in Test Mode
- After you save the test product, there should be a button in the upper right that says "Copy to live mode". Click it.

Now you should have a pair of products that you can associate with your checkout funnel step in CF Classic.

If you don't have matching test mode product, you can't test! So this is a crucial step.
