I was an awesome employee.
Fueled by an ability to learn quickly and a large inferiority complex, I'd do what was required and then some to get the job done and feel safe.
I knew how to play the game.
I was a skilled player.
When I started my business, I didn't really "get" that it was a different game and I fell on my face!
"Busy" has no value in your own business.
"Putting in the hours" won't pay the bills.
It was only through a ton of pain, relationship strain and financial loss that I started to really change how I showed up.
The 80/20 principle was a major factor.
Defining my own outcomes and committing to them no matter what helped
Identifying all the ways that I escaped emotional pain (social media, food, conversation) was another level up.
Have you made this transition?
What was it like for you?
