ClickFunnels quietly released a game-changing update.
Credit to Ken Fong in the CF Facebook group for spotting it first 👏
You can now set device-specific styling for:
• Top Margin (on all elements)
• Width, Height & Alignment (on images)
Why does this matter?
Because before this, if you wanted to tweak your layout for mobile without affecting desktop..
You had to duplicate the element.
Style one for desktop.
Style one for mobile.
Hide each from the other.
That worked…
But it created a silent tax.
🔻 More elements
🔻 More DOM weight
🔻 Slower page load
🔻 Increased layout shift
🔻 Higher ad costs
🔻 Lower conversions
But with this new feature?
You adjust a single element.. and it displays differently depending on the device.
Less code.
Faster site.
Better UX.
Higher ROI.
Here’s how to use it:
1. In the Desktop view, style your element like normal.
2. Then click the device icon and switch to Mobile.
3. Adjust again—this time, it only affects the mobile view.
Done.
💡 Pro Tip: This is HUGE if you’re a fan of tight, customized mobile designs.
I tested it this morning and shaved 1.9 seconds off load time just by deleting hidden duplicates.
One tiny change.
Big impact.
