Need to lock part of your course until your student passes a quiz.. but ClickFunnels 2.0 doesn’t support gated assessments in an obvious way?

Let me show you a clean workaround I built for a client who literally saves lives with this feature.

Ted teaches people how to hold their breath.

Seriously.

World-record-level breath holds.

But that comes with risk.

So he needed a way to make sure every student passed a safety quiz before unlocking the next module.

ClickFunnels doesn’t support that out of the box.

But we found a way...

1. Use the survey element.
Add a ClickFunnels 2.0 survey with conditional logic.
Set the logic so only if they pass all answers, they get redirected.

2. Redirect to a standalone page (not in the course).
Why? So it can’t be accessed manually.
This is the “magic page.”

3. Use a button that triggers a form submission and a workflow.
On that page, the student clicks a button.. 
It submits an opt-in form, triggers a workflow, and applies a tag.
The tag unlocks the next module.And you can reuse it anywhere else in the course as an authentication check.

It’s not flashy... but it’s safe, elegant, and scalable.
